Carl Evan Fretthold graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1972. He studied Mortuary Science at Canton Agricultural & Technical College. Carl received his degree in 1974 and began to work with his father at Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. where he currently serves as president.
Carl is an active member at First Trinity Lutheran Church, and serves on the executive ministry team. He also sits on the board of directors for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Eastern District.
James P. Fretthold is a 1974 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and a 1976 graduate of Canton Agricultural & Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science. He served a one year apprenticeship with Detrich Funeral Home of Amherst begining on July of 1976. He continued to work there, gaining valuable experience, until October 1981. He then began working along side his father and brother at Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. and is currently the licensed manager.
Jim is an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He is also a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of the Tonawandas.
Michael R. Fretthold is a 2006 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. He obtained his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science in 2008 from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. Michael has been a licensed funeral director serving western New York since 2008.
Mike is a skilled musky bait maker and enjoys crafting them in his free time. He is an active member of Renewal Church in North Tonawanda.
Lisa M. Hansson graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 2003. She continued her education at Niagara County Community College, obtaining her license as a Registered Nurse in 2010. She spent 11 years at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on the labor and delivery floor, and was an active educator there in Perinatal Bereavement.
As her children grew older, Lisa decided to go back to school for Mortuary Science at American Academy McAllister Insitute. She graduated in April 2019 with her Associates Degree in Funeral Service, and received her license in 2020. She is blessed to be working along side her family at Fretthold Funeral Home Inc.
Jenna L. Fretthold is a 2008 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She studied Funeral Service at American Academy McAllister Institute. Jenna graduated in 2021 with her Mortuary Science degree and is now serving her residency along side her family at Fretthold Funeral Home Inc.
